Ryan McCain
Ryan McCain is the founder of Norzer and a lifelong tech prodigy with over 25 years of experience in IT.
His passion for technology runs deep, literally in the blood. His dad led the team that programmed the navigation system for the first space shuttle. When Ryan was about 10, his parents brought home a Commodore 64. While his dad flipped through the manual, Ryan was already wiring it up and making it run. That moment lit the fuse.
By the late '80s and early '90s, he was running an underground BBS from his bedroom, hacking phone lines, exploring system vulnerabilities, learning how to break and rebuild tech just for the challenge. (And yes, he's still a 2600 reader.)
Today, Ryan channels that same hacker-born mindset into Norzer, specializing in Local SEO, GEO, AI, WordPress hosting, website performance, website security, Linux, and digital marketing. He stays on the cutting edge of how AI is reshaping search and marketing, and puts that knowledge to work directly for his clients. He's helped hundreds of small businesses rank higher, load faster, stay safer, and generate real, measurable leads. All without the big-agency nonsense.
Backed by a strong foundation in Linux architecture, information security, and search strategy, Ryan is a hands-on problem solver who thrives on creative, practical solutions.
Outside of Norzer, Ryan's an animal lover, experimental home cook, avid reader, and loyal Boston sports fan (a holdover from his IBM days in the city). He hits the gym daily and knocks out 10,000 steps every day because sometimes the best ideas come while moving.
Lately, he's been hacking something else: food. Ryan finds creative ways to cut calories without sacrificing flavor, swapping ingredients, experimenting with high-protein, low-calorie alternatives, and reengineering meals for both taste and performance. (Big Mac salad, anyone?) Ask him about his recipe for Nature's Sour Patch Kids.
He's deeply passionate about Web3 and the future of decentralized tech, especially projects like Reserve Protocol, which aims to build a more stable and decentralized financial system for everyone.
Oh, and Norzer is "Reznor" scrambled. That's a nod to Trent Reznor, the creative force behind Nine Inch Nails, and a symbol of Ryan's roots in tech, music, and thinking differently.
